The Art of Becoming Whole

What if the way you see your house mirrors the way you see yourself as a whole?

Feng shui, the Chinese are of bringing balance and harmony to home through interior design says, the home “reflects your inner state and life situations,” and, ...

“Your house communicates your harmony (or disharmony) with your environment, indicating where you might be holding onto the past or ready for change.”

This morning, I have someone coming to give us an estimate to install some wood floors and to refinish all the other hardwood floors in the house. The only rooms not affected are this room, my work room, and the bathrooms. It's going to be a whole house reset.

It’s going to be amazing - exhausting, but amazing - to redo all of the rooms, get everything set and clean, and enter 2026 from a space that truly feels complete and reflective of me and my family.

I’m realizing that I am looking forward to visualizing and addressing the house as a whole rather than in parts, like I have always done. In the past, I've conquered one issue at a time – a wall, a room, a rug, etc. - at a time, and just tackled whatever I was drawn to and had the budget for in that moment, never thinking about the whole house or how I wanted the whole house to look and feel.

Here comes the a-ha!

Now, isn't that an amazing way to reflect my own journey too? And where I'm arriving at now? Where are we all arriving at in 2026?

We’ve been working away at all these aspects of self-healing ... healing this wound, rebalancing our lives here, redefining that relationship, clearing an old belief, expressing ourselves in new ways in this part of our lives, and so on.

Now, look at the whole “you” picture. This is really asking the question: Who am I? What do all of these growths and shifts mean when they come together as a whole self?

I know - we are limitless, profound beings, so even asking this question doesn’t necessarily invite a clear or easy answer. Still, it’s worth asking. Who is this evolved you?

Start here. If you could take snapshots of all the breakthroughs, releases, healings, and shifts you’ve experienced over the past ten years and piece them together like a mosaic, what does this more integrated version of you look like? What do they feel like? What do they want? Dream of?

Celebrate this new year and it's possibilities for a more complete, authentic you.

Open your heart and arms wide to the evolved you.

Give them breath, life, and love.

This is the art of becoming whole.

Take a moment, gather them all up, and step forward into the 2026 energy. The numerology of the 10 and the 1 - completion and the leader, new beginnings and an up-leveling.

Let who you are now guide the way to see what expressions, intentions, and actions they will gift you in these next 10 years.
